Textures of Fall

Mary Ramsden

When Mary Ramsden went walking at the Morton Arboretum this fall she was struck by the textures that she saw there. Inspired, she worked to capture some of autumn’s details. From left to right, they are: red berries of smooth sumac, lichen on a log, the remains of a hedge apple after a squirrel’s lunch and fungus in the woods.
